Montage® Metal fencing is galvanized under a proprietary method, known as Ameristar’s patented E-coat. This means the steel has been completely submerged inside and out during the galvanization process. As a result, the material is completely rust resistant even before the final finish is applied.
All of our steel fence posts are set 20”- 24” deep with wet-mixed concrete! This solid foundation ensures that your new fence won't lean or fall over with time. A Montage metal fence from Ameristar will traverse grades up to 30 degrees without any problems. This allows the fence to go up and down steep backyard grades while keeping your fence close to the ground. Other types of metal fences require awkward solutions like “stepping” to deal with difficult terrain. Our decorative metal fence never requires an unusual work-around that compromises the appearance of your landscape. Still, you should consult your local authority before installation to ensure compliance. The Pool, Pet, and Play fence also has a 3” air space for virtually the same cost as other fences that have a “4 space that can't keep small dogs in or the neighbors' pets out.While regulations often allow close to four inches of space between the pickets, aluminum or plastic can have also have 2-1/2 times the flex of steel, putting the safety of your children and pets at risk.
