Ranch Fence in this example stands 4 ½’ tall, with four horizontal rails that are true 1”X6” rough cut boards (full 1” thick boards); featured here with a single gate for easy access in to the other parts of the yard. This ranch/farm style fence can be constructed with rounded edge 5/8” decking boards for a smoother finish; also, welded wire (galvanized or black vinyl coated wire, which practically disappears from sight) can be affixed to keep pets from getting in or out according to your needs. This style fence is perfect for both rural and suburban settings.
