Creek crossing security fencing project for Dobbins Air Force Base in Marietta, GA

We worked with a local military base in Marietta, GA that had an issue with a creek crossing on their property - you could drive a Hummer underneath the perimeter fence! As part of our 15,000 LF contract, we had to come up with a solution for this security risk.

The first thing we had to do was have a 30' x 20' x 36" thick concrete slab precast with block-outs to accept our fence posts. After dropping this slab in the bottom of the creek and lining up the holes with the fence line, we came to the fun part of this project: setting posts in moving water! We figured it out and created a super strong, impenetrable barrier with a fence on top.

This was one of the coolest things we've designed and put into practical use. This military base has been secure ever since!
