Horizontal privacy fences are a popular trend we've noticed around Atlanta lately. We recently installed this wood privacy fence for a client in East Atlanta, and it did not disappoint! This project is constructed from 4x4 posts on the inside with 1x6x16' long rough-cut ranch boards. Using one-inch thick ranch board is very sturdy and makes a good sound barrier ideal for privacy fencing, and the look of sideways wood on this fence is both stylish and modern
