Residential Chain Link Fencing in Atlanta
A chain link fence provides beauty and practicality for the value-conscious homeowner. Long viewed as a staple in the fencing industry, chain link is adept at keeping pets and children inside to ensure their safety. This type of fence is also ideal for retaining your privacy to a certain degree and ensuring that individuals are aware of the boundaries of the property line. Available in heights between 4 and 8 feet tall, this type of fencing helps ensure your peace of mind while adding to the value of your home.
Types of Chain Link Fences
Though its construction and design are fairly simple and straightforward, the result is a beautiful and practical fence that offers years of good looks and service. Fencepost holes are dug to mark the perimeter of the fence before concrete is wet-mixed and set around galvanized steel or black vinyl-wrapped posts. In between these terminal posts, the chain link fabric is stretched tautly to provide a secure barrier. The top rail is attached to provide more stability and security to protect your home and family.

Galvanized vs Vinyl Coated Chain Link Fencing
Galvanized Chain Link Fencing – Galvanized chain link fencing is typically what comes to mind when people are talking about this type of fence. It is noted by its distinctive silver appearance and provides a versatile solution to your containment issues. Whether you are trying to keep your children or pets safe, or you want to increase the value of your home with the highly-desirable selling point of a fenced-in yard, galvanized chain link is a budget-friendly method of meeting those goals.
Vinyl Coated Chain Link Fencing – While based on the same basic premise as galvanized chain link, a vinyl coated chain link fence has some notable differences. Designed to be nearly invisible, black vinyl coated chain link fencing is the most popular color chosen by homeowners. A vinyl coated chain link fence offers other advantages as well. Because it is coated with a weather resistant material, this type of fence is virtually immune to the elements. In addition, this coating does not peel or chip, further improving its resistance to rust.
