Pool Fences Provide Peace of Mind
A swimming pool fence is a decorative accessory for your home that also provides a great deal of peace of mind. Available in a range of different materials and designs, a pool fence can add a great deal of beauty and style to the exterior of your home. In addition to bringing you peace of mind so that pets and children stay safe around your pool, having a professionally installed swimming pool fence adds value to your property — an important consideration if you plan to sell it at some point in the future.
BOCA Codes Must Be Met
The swimming pool fence building codes can differ widely between localities in Georgia. If they are not followed precisely, you could receive a summons or — worse — inadvertently be responsible for a pet or child getting inside your pool. Apex Fence Company has the experience and knowledge needed to install your pool fence so that it meets — and even exceeds — the stipulations set forth by the county or city where your house is located. This means that you can hire them with confidence and know that you will get an attractive fence that meets all the pertinent codes.
A Pool Fence Gives You Privacy
Another important criteria when it comes to having a pool fence installed is privacy. Being able to enjoy your pool in private without your neighbors peeking at you when you are relaxing is extremely important to most homeowners. Knowing that the neighborhood kids can see that you are taking a dip in your pool and wanting to join you can greatly decrease your enjoyment of it. This same idea applies to those adult neighbors who always seem to come to visit you — uninvited and armed with their sunblock and beach towel — as you are preparing to slip into your pool for a relaxing dip.
Attractive Materials and Designs
Pool fences do not have to be chain link, though there is nothing wrong with choosing this material if you need something that is budget friendly. There are a number of other types of materials that can be used for your pool fence. Decorative metal pool fences add a significant amount of class and charm to your property. Wood swimming pool fences are available in many different styles that are designed make your yard look fantastic while still ensuring that kids and pets are kept away from the water.

Pool Fences can be constructed from wood, decorative metal, chain link, and a myriad of other fence construction materials. The codes that apply to pool fencing vary due to different required heights and materials depending on where in the area you reside. For example: The spaces between vertical members must be less than 4″ on fences 5′ or taller. The allowable spacing for a 4′ tall fence is only 1-3/4″ wide. Horizontal members must be 45″ apart so as to not provide a foothold for children to climb over. Chain link fences for pool applications use a smaller mesh size which is 1-1/4″.

We had a large 4 rail fence installed in preparation for a pool installation. The job was scheduled and completed quickly- meeting all of my expectations. A few weeks later, we needed to change the gating configuration. The company responded quickly and made the adjustments. The crews that accomplished the work were professional, respectful and communicated throughout the process. Fast forward to the latest job they accomplished for us - We needed to have some of the fencing "re-installed" as a result of bringing in the heavy equipment for the pool install. Once again, excellent work, professional workers, polite and on time. I highly recommend this company for anyone looking for fencing.
I always hire contractors based on reviews and have been very pleased almost every time. This was an excellent experience. My sales agent, Eric F., was knowledgeable, took his time, and was not pushy. Even after the installation of my PTP 6 foot scalloped privacy fence was complete, he was responsive to my e-mails. He gave invaluable advice about preserving the quality of the fence after installation (staining- I had not known). The installation was set for the first week in July, but the team showed up the last week of June. I was initially annoyed as I wasn't supposed to even be in Georgia at the time but I later realized they had rescheduled for the only window for weeks to come when no rain was predicted. The workers took one day, adjusted a boundary issue I noticed during plotting, and left no mess. The posts were sunk neatly in concrete, every board is even (I've been up close and personal during staining), and I've gotten at least 5 compliments on the fence's appearance from my neighbors and strangers. To cap it off, the president of our picky HOA (no signs on lawns, no cars in street, etc.) asked for the name of the company so he could refer other interested homeowners in our neighborhood. Thoroughly pleased- would hire again.
You know what they say, "Great fences make great neighbors". If you need that great fence, call APEX FENCE. They came when they said they would, he finished with our chain link fence in 2 days (his assistant was out sick). We are very happy with our fence, it has been a few weeks and we just had it stained today. The price was slightly under the other 3 companies. Last, the sales guy was highly knowledgeable and really made us feel confident in APEX FENCE.
I just had a backyard ranch type fence installed in my backyard. My experience with Apex Fence was very good. From the first visit to estimate the cost through the install no issues what so ever. The installers worked very hard basically non-stop through over 90 degree heat. I was very impressed.
We got two estimates for our fence, and went with Apex because it was the installer who came out to do the estimate, and he gave us some good ideas that we incorporated into our design. Everything happened just like they told us, and our fence was installed a couple of weeks ago. We were very impressed with the install, they cut each board of the privacy fence so that it followed the terrain while looking perfectly level and even at the top part. We would gladly recommend Apex to anyone who needs a fence installed.
Apex did a great job in removing old fencing and installing new chain link and wrought iron fence for us at the Atlanta Humane Society. Lance worked with us to complete the job in a timely manner and within our budget. Their crew was very hard working and very skilled. Thanks Apex!
I wanted a 6 foot privacy fence for my dog, I went with the scalloped design. The fence looks really great. Before the pickets went up you could look down the line of posts and only see one, they were that straight. All the scallops look the same too. The fence looks very professional. Honestly it makes the ones around me not look very good. The fence looks very sturdy, the posts are set in 2 feet of cement and the gates look great how they blend in. Everybody I dealt with was very nice too. The owner of the company even came out to check on it during the day, I appreciate that. And the price was right there what I thought it should be. I think I really got my money's worth and would highly recommend Apex. -Kathy
